Books Go Home for the Holidays!

Monday, December 17 2007 @ 03:48 PM EST

Minnesota

Minnesota BookPALS Coordinator Delta Giordano tagged along with reader Tom Sherohman when he visited Shireen Taintor's kindergarten class at Oh Day Aki on December 17th. Tom and Delta took turns reading, then distributed copies of HALIBUT JACKSON to the children to take home for the holidays. Tom also gave away books to his kindergarten class at Valley View in Columbia Heights.

Special thanks to Bookpal Mary Kay Bodeen who handed out a beautiful E.B. White collection to her former students at Braham Elementary in honor of Bookpal Margaret Clare. Mary Kay retired at the end of last year and decided to continue as a Bookpal at her school. Thanks also to our partner First Book for the books!
