Atlanta BookPAL Jane Bass as Mother Goose!

Atlanta BookPAL Jane Bass dressed up as Mother Goose for McLendon Elementary School students. Jane says, "On March 4th, I dressed up as Mother Goose, assumed a British accent, and did a five-minute presentation for each of 30-odd classes promoting playing with words, using Mother Goose rhymes and a Shel Silverstein poem. I had volunteers act out a couple of rhymes, using props that I carried in my basket, and then pitched the fun of reading. It went over great! The kids enjoyed it and so did I! Most of the kids at the school now call me "Mother Goose" when they encounter me."

Media Specialist Evi Reznick says, "Jane, thank you SO MUCH for dressing up as Mother Goose. You make such a difference!"
