Welcome to Los Angeles BookPALS
Los Angeles
Thank you to all of our talented, generous readers, attentive students, caring administrators, and important donors! It's been a wonderful school year. We're always looking for more readers and donors--no matter what time of year. Some of our schools are year-round, and we also read in hospitals, museums, and shelters. In Los Angeles people are always looking for BookPALS for their special events.

If you're an actor interested in becoming a BookPAL, just drop an e-mail to losangeles@bookpals.net and we'll send you more information. If you're interested in having your school be part of the program, just submit an application from the BookPALS site.

Now is the time to get involved. Our volunteers all have busy lives, but once you find a little time for BookPALS, you won't know how you ever did without it!

On June 26 BookPALS excited every class at Shirley Avenue Elementary about BOOKS! The kids are ready for lots of summer reading now.

Six BookPALS each read to four or five consecutive classes: phew! But they were fueled by Ms. Joyce's lovely breakfast--AND lunch!

Shirley Avenue would love to have YOU read there regularly next school year!
