Four of Florida's most stellar BookPALS were presented with awards for their outstanding service. These PALS have always gone above and beyond the call of duty to promote reading and literacy in the communities where they live. Not only do they read to more than their fair share of classes every week of the school year, but also they participate in teach-ins, career days, RIF programs, spelling bees, and countless other school and community events related to literacy. They are adored and they are loved by children, teachers, parents and principals.
