"After reading to the entire school over the closed circuit TV, I read to three first grade classes. We have a WONDERFUL friendship, complete with respect for me and fellow students who want to listen. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful it feels to pass classes of fourth graders who remind me of our friendships past by calling out my name, giving high fives, some hugs and lots of books shown to me with the chants of "Look what I am reading!" Reading for BookPALS is like having a HUGE family.

BIG SMILES,
Reed Kalisher

Every March, BookPAL Reed Kalisher celebrates "Read Across America Day" at the Plantation Park Elementary School in South Florida. This year Reed met a friend of all BookPALS, the Cat in the Hat.
