Thanks to the creative Amir Parsa, from the Museum of Modern Art, BookPAL readers were honored on November 7 at a special wine and cheese reception (courtesy of BookPALS) and free guided tour of newly renovated MoMA.
Fifty readers were inspired to try wonderful ways of integrating art into classroom reading sessions. And some started plans to bring their classes to MoMA for yet another special event, as part of the museum�s community programs. (Thank you, Wally Wood, for your fabulous help!)
In the summer we will also bring reading outdoors as part of MoMA�s future programming.
