NY BookPALS hosted a special event this year with National Education Association for Read Across America Day at Build A Bear's Flagship store on Fifth Avenue. Paul Christie(NY Screen Actors Guild President),Linda Schmidt (Fox 5 News), J.J. Singleton (opening as Flounder this year on Broadway in The Little Mermaid), and Kris Koop (currently performing in Phantom of the Opera) all read Dr. Seuss books to the children that day!

Build A Bear gave the students from PS 111 Dr. Seuss hats and stuffed animal Dr. Seuss dolls!
