Children and their families gathered on Sept. 8 for the annual Celebration of Minnesota Authors & Illustrators event in Red Wing. BookPALS were the featured readers at the top of the Tower on the Anderson Center campus. We climbed the 70+ steps up the Tower and read books by local authors and illustrators. Thanks to BookPALS Barb Everhart, Patty McDonald, Patsy McKenzie, Paul Mockovak and Kevin Wery (pictured below) for making the drive to Red Wing and making the climb!
