From Jan. 17 to Jan 25, students at the school that is the alma mater to many SAG members and to the children of many performers who made their home in the Palm Springs area, will bring in books to help BookPALS gather 850 books for distribution to second through fifth graders at four elementary schools in the Coachella Valley.
The four schools are Bubbling Wells Elementary School in Desert Hot Springs, Cathedral City Elementary School, Cielo Vista Elementary School in Palm Springs and Dr. Reynaldo J. Carreon Jr. Academy School in Indio.
