The Atlanta BookPALS Program would like to thank Piggly Wiggly Supermarket (Cleveland, GA) and Publix Supermarket (Marietta, GA) for their very gracious donations to our 8th Annual Summer Appreciation Picnic!

Eric Webb, Manager of Piggly Wiggly Supermarket in Cleveland, Georgia (Left)

Glenn Scott, Manager of Publix Supermarket in Marietta, Georgia (Right)

Piggly Wiggly donated three cases of soda and Publix donated a Cubanitos (Cuban Sandwich Platter) to our Picnic. Thank you Mr. Webb and Mr. Scott for supporting literacy in Georgia!

As a nonprofit organization, it is community-minded organizations such as Piggly Wiggly and Publix that make it possible for BookPALS to continue its work reading to elementary school children during the year in order to promote literacy.

On behalf of the Screen Actors Guild Foundation BookPALS Program in Atlanta, we thank you!!
