Dr. Seuss' Birthday BookPALS
March 7, 2008

Located in Indio, Carreon Academy was the first school to join the BookPALS program.
Visiting the 4th grade classes every week is great pleasure for this school's BookPALS. When the readers visited during "Read Across America" Week, books were handed out to every student in the BookPALS classroom, inscribed with a personal note to each student by their BookPAL. This photo demonstrates how much fun was had by all.

ABRAHAM LINCOLN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Palm Desert - March 7, 2008

BookPALS made a special effort to provide reading to Abraham Lincoln Elementary in Palm Desert. With short notice, four readers were ready to step in and help students celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday in the classrooms by reading, "Horton Hears a Who?" It was a welcome reprieve after an important period of testing in the classrooms.
