Outstanding performance by a BookPALS reader and a school librarian was acknowledged by the Screen Actors Guild Foundation at an awards assembly on June 23 at Cathedral City Elementary School.
Certificates were given to Teri Henderson, Cathedral City Elementary School librarian, and Shep Saunders, roving BookPALS stand-in for exemplary performance during the year. Along with the certificates, a gift of books was presented to the school library on behalf of the Coachella Valley BookPALS branch.
