Congratulations to Atlanta BookPAL Paul Riemann, honored as BookPAL of the Month for February 2009!

Paul has been reading to the second-grade children at W.J. Scott Elementary School since 2007 and always goes above and beyond the call of duty.

Second-Grade Teacher, Kellye Worlds, says, "Mr. R has been a great motivational force for the students. He excites the students into wanting to read and explore fiction books for themselves. They look forward to his weekly reading and are captivated by the energy in which he delivers the material. Thank you, Mr. R., from the Second-Grade Team at W.J. Scott!"

Librarian Anja Tigges says, "Mr. R. totally rocks! When he gets up to leave, many of the kids get up to hug him goodbye. Very sweet!

Second-Grade Teacher, Jennifer Harris, says, "We are happy to honor Mr. R. He has truly been a blessing to our children. They enthusiastically look forward to his visits every week! Let it be known, I also enjoy listening to his stories. Those character voices are fantastic!"

Second-Grade Teacher, Tyrone Godfrey, says, "Mr. R. is great! I want to read to students one day just like Mr. R.!"

Second-Grade Teacher, Bryant Carter, says, "I especially like Mr. R's voices. It makes me feel like I am in the story. I would like to learn how to make the different voices!"

Paul Riemann is currently employed as a Professor of Business Strategy at the Coles College of Business, which is part of Kennesaw State University. He was previously a Senior Director of Marketing and Business Strategy at United Parcel Service (UPS).
